SGA Meeting Highlights
The Student Government Association is currently running a clothing drive, there are boxes located in The Reed Union Building and Burke for students to donate old clothes. At last week’s meeting the Senate discussed and approved the motion to amend the constitution changing the required GPA to run for an eboard position from a 2.75 to 2.5, Behrend was previously the only common wealth campus to require that high of a GPA.
The Senate also passed the final budget of the semester, those clubs and organizations who were denied funding will be given the chance to appeal at this week’s meeting.
SGA welcomed a new member, Morgan Yelverton, as the new events coordinator!
Last Friday was the deadline to apply for a student government positon, Monday the 19th marked the kick off the campaigning period.
